This non-semestered diploma program prepares students with the necessary skills to become professional hairstylists. Students learn the basics of cutting and styling and how to perm, colour, and lighten hair. Graduates of the program can write the exemption examination for apprenticeship. After completing the required practical apprenticeship hours, graduates can write the provincial examination for certification.
