Charlotte Cotnam-Isea fell in love with the Spanish language 25 years ago. She traveled extensively in South America in her quest to learn the language and eventually married a Venezuelan and lived in Brazil for over five years. Charlotte learned to speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese.
After moving back to Canada and starting a family, Charlotte began teaching Spanish courses at Algonquin College in 2001. Teaching adults Spanish, inspired her to return to school and become an elementary school teacher. She has taught beginners and intermediates alike, but she and her students have all had one thing in common – the love of this beautiful language!
Charlotte instructs "Spanish Anyone" LAN7008 and “Spanish Level 2 - Beyond "Dos Cervezas Por Favor"! (LAN7010).
