Experience many of the cultural aspects of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation through interactive discussion and activities. These proud Anishinabek (people) have made an impressive comeback in recent years to achieve their goal of reinforcing their traditions which were almost lost completely from their community at Golden Lake. This class offers the opportunity to participate in traditional dancing or drumming if you wish or to have your questions answered by one of the senior members of the Algonquin community who have studied with elders across Canada.
