This training program explains all the requirements as set out by the Occupational Health and Safety Act with regard to working at heights. Your rights and responsibilities, recognizing situations that present fall hazards, safety procedures, and use of personal protective equipment and many other aspects of working at heights are reinforced.

Notes: Upon successful completion of testing, a certificate recognized by the Ministry of Labour will be provided.  Certification is required by April 1 for all construction workers in Ontario.   Instructor: B. Derouin, ARCOSE

Sections 712 and 762 for $111.55 are for current Algonquin College students only. Sections 711 and 761 are open to the public.

Employers and individuals may also qualify for the Canada Ontario Job Grant.  Please read eligibility information and contact Community Employment Services 613-735-4308 prior to registering to confirm whether or not the grant is applicable to your situation. This grant will only be applicable until the April 1 when the certification becomes mandatory so enrol early.
